This HR conference will gather experts from relevant fields in order to provide policy updates and trends present in this changing environment.
Agenda:
The Business Confidence Survey 2016 brings together the input of over 500 senior representatives of the European Chamber’s member companies to provide an annual overview of their performance and outlook from within the Chinese market. The European Chamber’s South China Board Chair, Mr. Alberto Vettoretti, will lead the launch event to members and present the key findings of the Business Confidence Survey 2016 in addition to answering any questions that you may have.
The BCS 2016 reports the views of European Chamber member companies on China’s business and regulatory environment, including the following.
· How they are managing the deceleration of economic growth in China and how they view the upcoming two years, a period that many expect to be increasingly challenging. This includes data on plans for cutting cost through 2016, through such measures as headcount reduction.· Their views of China’s industrial overcapacity problem. · The leading challenges and regulatory barriers that they report facing in China. · Their evaluation of the implementation, to date, of the reform programme outlined in the Third Plenum's Decision.· Their views on the importance and likely effect of the 13th Five-Year Plan, the EU-China Comprehensive Agreement on Investment negotiations and the need for a new landmark development.· The state of their R&D operations in China and problems created by issues such as limitations on internet access.
All attendees will receive a free hardcopy of the Business Confidence Survey 2016.

Mr. Alberto VettorettiChairman, South China Board, European Chamber; Managing Partner, Dezan Shira & AssociatesAlberto Vettoretti is the co-owner and Managing Partner of Dezan Shira & Associates, a business processing outsourcing (BPO) company involved in administration, tax, accounting and payroll services across Asia. The firm has close to 300 professionals and 11 offices in China and 7 more in Asia with liaison offices in Germany, Italy and the United States. The firm is also the China member of the Leading Edge International Alliance (LEA) of global accountants and auditors. LEA is the 2nd largest tax and accounting partnership world-wide. Alberto is directly responsible for operations in China, Hong Kong and South East Asia, is experienced in corporate structuring, tax planning and legal and management issues affecting foreign-invested enterprises in the region and sits on the board of various multinational corporations in Asia. Alberto is an international advisor to the Guangzhou municipal government, a YPO executive and a regular contributor to the China and Asia Briefing reports always edited by the firm.
Ms. Christine RaynaudCEO, MRICChristine Raynaud became CEO of MRIC group on November 1, 2010 when she acquired majority shareholding in the company. With more than 25 years of experience in search, recruitment and staffing, Christine is viewed as one of the recruitment industry’s most experienced leaders. Christine is a graduate of HEC Paris with a career that includes roles with recruitment industry leaders such as Hudson as CEO EMEA from 2004 to 2009, Manpower Inc from 1996 to 2003 as Managing Director, Asia and COO of Manpower France and ECCO, (now Adecco) from 1985 to 1995 as VP international development and GM HK. Christine now brings her experience to MRIC in Asia drawing on the knowledge gained through leading HR services businesses in over 21 international markets. Diana is an experienced HR specialist and worked previously in such companies as Philips, Ericsson and Lucent. Diana graduated from Peking University majoring in Applied Psychology. As a Chair of the HR Forum, Diana wish to support to voice up opinions to the government from the enterprises’ perspective, share HR professional knowledge and best practices around so as to maximize the benefits to the member companies in South China.
Dr. Alfred Chambers Director of the Mental Health Department, United Family Guangzhou Clinic& Psychologist Dr. Alfred Chambers is a psychologist at United Family Guangzhou Clinic where he is also Director of the Mental Health Department. Before coming to Guangzhou he was a full time psychologist at Beijing United Family Hospital for five years where he treated individuals (children, adolescents and adults), families and couples, and worked closely with other health professionals. Before moving to China he worked for eight years with physicians in a private medical clinic in Taipei and has worked in a variety of mental health settings over the years in Canada and abroad.Dr. Chambers is a psychotherapist, emergency mental health worker, workshop leader, trainer, mentor and university instructor. He has over twenty five years experience in this field.He has a Doctorate in Therapeutic Counselling and a attended graduate school in British Columbia.
