India currently enforces Social Security Agreements (SSAs) with 18 countries, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, and South Korea. The Ministry of External Affairs, serving as the competent authority for these negotiations, is actively seeking to expand this network. Planned agreements include nations such as China, Russia, South Africa, Thailand, Mexico, Peru, and Cyprus.
